FAST-ID® GENETIC IDENTIFICATION KIT is a kit capable of conducting very rapid person identification with a minimal amount of DNA obtained from the blood, tissue and buccal swabs.
The difference of this test, which is conducted by using the STR (Short Tandem Repeats) markers, from other kits in the market is that this test carries out the genetic identification at a speed that is unprecedented in the world. This test that is carried out by using D3S1358, D7S820, CSF1PO, D13S317, D16S539, D18S51, FGA and Amelogenin markers is completed in approximately 35 minutes. This kit, which has a very high separation power, paves the way for STR-based person identification to be used in areas outside the medical field.
